Why I Don't Always Follow Back

Among Catholics on Twitter, there is a campaign that says "Catholics always follow back". I did that for a long time, but recently realized why it was a mistake and unfollowed a ton of people I was following. Here's why.
First of all, and especially as a Catholic, I follow Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Second, I follow those who also make the same profession of faith and try their best to stay in a state of grace. If I follow anyone who isn't focused in this way, I run the risk of following them away from my faith.
In a concrete way, when I went to my account, I was inundated with posts from people who are following, in my best discernment, an erroneous path. I seriously got tired of searching through all the mistaken concepts to find the ones I recognized as speaking truth.
It makes sense, doesn't it? I follow those who inspire me and you, in turn, follow me because I inspire you. But if I get lost in all the confusion, then I can only, in turn, confuse you, and more serious than just confuse you, may even pull you away from your faith and away from salvation itself!
In a time of such great confusion, thanks to Satan, I believe we need to do everything we can to make the truth known - loudly and clearly. It may be time for a new campaign. Maybe #RealCatholicsAlwaysOnlyFollowTheChurchOfChrist or something. Too long! Any ideas?
